I'm not really sure what to say about this post other than I couldn't be more proud of my son. (With the exception of when he told me, "Mom! I need to pray right now and ask Jesus into my heart!"). I think he was nervous because he didn't take his eyes off his Dad, and when it was all said and done, there wasn't a dry eye in the house.
Blessings,

Ah!!! Rejoicing along with your family and all of Heaven!!! God is SO good!
On a funny side note, Geoff, Chelsea and I were baptized together. Liam was 3. The next day, I was ready to rush out the door to take Chelsea to her dance class. I found Liam up on the bathroom counter soaking wet (head and shirt) with soap on himself. Fortunately God held my tongue because I was in such a hurry...I got him in the shower and changed his clothes. As I put him in the car, he said with great joy, "Mom! I got BATH-TIZED!!!" Oh my goodness...so precious. :) Glad I didn't rain on his special moment as I would have on other days.
Cari, what a poignant picture that truly is of "our Father's love for His children." He feels the same way about us as "the Pastor" does about his son! :-)
Blessings...PD in CO
That's a comforting thought, PD. Too bad I don't stop to think about that more often.
Amy, I was cracking up at that story. Is there anything more precious than those moments in life?
Hugs to all,
Cari
